Experiment 9 Hydrolysis of tert-Butyl Chloride
Chemical kinetics is concerned with measuring the rates of chemical reactions. In this experiment you will use changes in solution conductivity to monitor the rate of hydrolysis of t-butyl chloride. For this Prelab you will need graph paper for one of the questions; you will also need graph paper to plot the data in the lab class.
